Cubes
Cubes are solid cubic paving elements, obtained using mechanical splitting of the stone and divided into 4/6 – 6/8 – 8/10 – 10/12 – 14/17 categories on the basis of size. The upper surface of the cube is natural surface, while the sides are rough. They are also produced in white Carrara marble, in granite or other stone and with a sawn surface. The cubes can be supplied loose, in crates or in sacks.

Tiles
The tiles are subdivided into two groups: split-edge and sawn-edge. Split-edge tiles are obtained by cutting the stone with special cutters and may be rectangular or square. The thickness generally varies between 2 and 5 cm; for specific purposes thicker or thinner tiles suitable above all for cladding may be produced. With standard working, tiles with a width of 10 – 15 – 20 – 25 – 30 – 35 – 40 – 45 and 50 cm and of variable length are produced. These are packed and supplied on 15 mē pallets bound with nylon cord.

Sawn-edge tiles are again squared slabs, but with sawn rather than split edges. The length may be variable or fixed.

They are subdivided into:
Natural surface: maintaining a natural surface and of variable width.
Flamed surface: obtained after sawing by flaming the upper surface. Particularly suitable for internal flooring.
Smooth surface: obtained through sawing and subsequent polishing of the material, with a fixed thickness.
Shiny surface: obtained through sawing of the blocks and subsequent polishing of the material, with a fixed thickness.
Bush-hammered surface: obtained through machine bush-hammering of the surface.

Smolleri long bricks
These are produced using the by-products resulting from the working of tiles, through cutting and hand-finishing. They have two natural surface side faces, while the upper exposed surface and two sides are split-edged. The length is variable and the width varies between 2 and 10 cm. They are used above all for cladding walls, pillars, walling and skirting; laid perpendicularly in a rib pattern, they are used for paving steeply sloping roads and access ramps for garages and similar.

Kerbstones
The standard kerbstones are 8 – 10 – 12 – 15 cm wide, of variable length and with a height going from 20 to 25 cm. Thinner kerbstones are also produced (4 – 5 – 6 – 7 cm x 20/23), which are used for marking out flowerbeds, to form the risers for steps or for other purposes. The various types of kerbstone may have natural upper surface and sides, or they may have sawn sides and the top with a natural surface, alternatively they may have only the top sawn and then bush-hammered with natural sides.

Ashlar wall stone
Ashlar split-face walling stone is used to make or cover walls: the exposed surface and two sides are split-edged, whereas the supporting edges may have a natural or sawn surface. These last have the advantage of being selected on the basis of height and depth: in this way it is possible to construct or clad walls with constant rows, with more aesthetically pleasing results and savings in terms of installation costs. The depth and length are variable.

Setts
This shape of this product is roughly parallelepipedal. The setts are used to edge paving made using cubes of porphyry and mark the boundaries between two types of different paving, for specific designs and also to create pavements or large steps in rustic style. They are available in 8 – 10 – 12 – 15 cm sizes, of variable length and with varying thicknesses, proportionate to the width.

Steps and coping
Steps and coping elements are obtained from slabs of considerable dimensions and variable thickness. They are special items that are produced to clad stairs or boundary walls, with 3 or 4 cm thick split or milled edges, in the widths desired and in variable or fixed lengths. Custom-made items may be obtained with specific working.

Risers and skirting
The risers are an integral part of the steps and are used to cover the vertical part of the step. The treads may have split or sawn working. Natural smooth surface and sawn edges, thicknesses from 1 to 3 cm; flamed surface and sawn edges, in fixed 1 or 2 cm thicknesses and measurements on request.
The skirting is used as a finishing element where the vertical surfaces meet the horizontal surfaces. Up to a height of 10 cm they act as skirting, above this height they become decorative elements. The height varies between 6 and 30 cm; the length is almost always variable.
