The office is dominated by a photograph dating back to the 1950s, showing Giuseppe Stenico in front of his quarry in the commune of Fornace. This was the first generation of the Stenico family to be involved in the quarrying of porphyry in Trentino.

Subsequently, in 1960, his son Bruno, who could be defined as one of the pioneers in the quarrying of Trentino porphyry, purchased an area of privately owned land at Pianacci and together with the concession of land by the commune of Fornace, continued his activities with the same momentum and enthusiasm as his father. At this point the sole–proprietor firm of Stenico Bruno was founded.

In the 1980s a sales office was set up in Germany with the assistance of Angelo Paolo Avi, then a young man and still a sales representative with the company.

Subsequently, in order to satisfy the many market requests, an office was also set up in Austria, managed by Mr Helmut Rohrmoser.

Since 1985 Massimo and Monica, the son and daughter of Bruno, have headed the family firm with dedication and professionalism, transforming it into a limited company, while maintaining the name of the founder: Porfidi Stenico Bruno s.r.l.
